Major Tom Supports Diana Ross on UK Tour and Montreux Jazz Festival Appearance
Diana Ross’s recent UK tour has been a resounding success, earning glowing reviews from every city along the route. It has been a privilege for Major Tom to once again support such an iconic artist.

After wrapping up a series of sold-out arena shows, including a final night at London’s O2 Arena, the tour moved on to a select run of European festivals. One of the highlights was a performance at the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
Our relationship with Diana Ross dates back to 1995, when Lars Brogaard first joined her team as Front of House engineer. Nearly 30 years later, we’re proud to continue that collaboration and be part of her incredible live journey.

“Having just come from touring a Meyer rig from Major Tom, I was thrilled to know that we’d have the same focus and clarity for the festival date with PANTHER on the main stage. It didn’t disappoint! A beautiful system for a beautiful stage, thanks to all the Meyer team for delivering yet again.” Production manager and FOH Mike Droke.

Major Tom was on site at Montreux in partnership with Meyer Sound and DiGiCo, supplying one of our DiGiCo Quantum 852 consoles at Front of House for the Lake Stage. The Q852 supported a diverse lineup of world-class talent, including Chaka Khan, Jade, Jamie xx, and Santana, delivering exceptional audio across every performance.
