Alec Benjamin hits 12 Notes in the UK and Europe

Singer-songwriter Alec Benjamin recently captivated audiences across the UK and Europe with his 12 Notes tour — a series of intimate and emotionally charged performances that highlighted his unique brand of thoughtful, storytelling-driven pop.

The tour began in Barcelona in early March and concluded in Lithuania by mid-April, with a standout performance at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall, a career milestone for many artists.

Behind the scenes, Major Tom provided a comprehensive audio control package that ensured consistency and flexibility throughout the run. At front of house, engineer Josh Dailey mixed on a DiGiCo Quantum 225, a trusted choice known for its balance of power and portability. On monitors, Liam Moore helmed a DiGiCo Quantum 326.

The Quantum 326 was added to our rental inventory following its release in late 2024, and the 12 Notes tour served as the perfect proving ground for its capabilities. Offering the same processing power and flexibility as the larger Q338, the Q326 brings flagship performance to a more compact and transport-friendly frame, a crucial advantage for a tour playing theatres and varying venue configurations.

Complementing the console package was a custom stage and mic setup, tailored specifically for this tour’s aesthetic and acoustic needs. The entire system was designed with efficiency in mind — enabling fast load-ins and consistent setups, while also providing enough adaptability to support spontaneous musical moments and changes in the set.

We’re proud to have supported such a talented and dedicated crew on this memorable tour. It’s always a pleasure to help bring exceptional performances to life and we look forward to seeing where Alec Benjamin’s journey takes him next.
