Michael Ball & Alfie Boe

Together At Home with Panther

Celebrating 10 years of musical collaboration, Michael Ball & Alfie Boe are back on tour across the UK in support of their sixth studio album, Together At Home. Known for their seamless blend of theatrical performance, operatic power, and pop-classical appeal, the duo continues to draw crowds to some of the UK’s largest arenas.

Audio System Designed for Scale and Clarity

The tour’s sound design centres around a Meyer Sound system, featuring:

  • 76 Panther boxes
  • 2100-LFC flown subs
  • Ground support with Leopard and Lina speakers, plus 1100 and 900 subs

Having already proven their capabilities on large-scale tours with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Judas Priest, and Fatboy Slim, the Meyer Panther system was the obvious choice for delivering full-range, high-impact audio across arena-sized venues.

The combination of Panther and 2100-LFC continues to showcase its versatility and power—from theatres to stadiums. Specifically designed to extend low-frequency performance, the 2100-LFC pairs seamlessly with Panther, delivering a sonic landscape that perfectly complements Ball and Boe’s rich vocal tones.

The control package includes a DiGiCo Quantum 338 with Pulse upgrade at Front of House, operated by Mark ‘Joey’ Jowitt, and a DiGiCo Quantum 7 on monitors, run by Mark Buckley.

Not just audio

Beyond audio, Major Tom supplied the tour’s full motor and rigging package, with GIS motors deployed for PA, lighting (LCR), and video (Colonel Tom) elements.

Over the past two years, Major Tom has expanded its motor inventory by 112%, allowing us to deliver both comprehensive production packages and rigging-only solutions—as recently seen on tours for the Jonas Brothers and Roger Waters.
